Caldieraro Dental Groundbreaking Newspaper Article

A ground-breaking ceremony was held last week for the new office of John Caldieraro III, DMD. Caldieraro's new office will be located on The Hill on Staunton Road near the Crystal Ballroom. Plocher Construction plans to begin construction on the 3,500 square foot building this week that will house Caldieraro's dental office.

The building is expected to be completed early September 2013, and Caldieraro will move his office from its current location in the office wing of Community Memorial Hospital to the new location shortly thereafter. All patients will be notified prior to the move.

Caldieraro started his practice in Staunton in July 2008 after graduating from the SIU School of Dental Medicine. His practice has been steadily growing and he's looking forward to offering his patients exciting all new state-of-the-art equipment featuring the latest in dental technology all while maintaining a comfortable atmosphere. Access to the building will be easy from Staunton Road and includes convenient parking and wheelchair accessibility. Out of town patients will also have easy access to the new location via its close proximity to Interstate 55. He will also be doubling his patient treatment rooms to be able to accommodate more patients with less wait time.

Caldieraro has deep roots in Staunton. He graduated valedictorian from Staunton High School in 2000. His father, John B. Caldieraro Jr., is a long-time pharmacist at Sullivan Drug; his mother Susan has been a nurse at Community Memorial Hospital for many years, and his wife Kelli is a Staunton native. She currently teaches RTI (response to intervention) at Staunton Elementary School.

The ground-breaking ceremony included his wife, parents and sister (Heidi) along with Rachelle Lengermann and Scott Plocher from Plocher Construction Company, Gregg Sutterfield from Hurford Architects, city public works director Hank Fey, and Community Memorial Hospital CEO Sue Campbell. Unable to attend the ceremony was Caldieraro's brother, Dr. Andrew Caldieraro, who was busy practicing dentistry in Edwardsville.
